Announcement of the Ministry of Defence.
"The MH 5th István Bocskai Infantry Brigade and the MH 25th György Klapka Infantry Brigade are regrouping in the period between September 17 and 19 due to their participation in the Brave Warrior 2022 exercise. Therefore, during the mentioned period, military marching columns must be expected to travel between Debrecen - Hajdúhadház, on the Veszprém – Újmajor and Tata – Környe – Gánt – Székesfehérvár – Veszprém – Újmajor routes.
The marching columns travel at a speed of 40 km/h on the following routes: Hajdúhadház, - 4th main road - M35 bypass road - M35 motorway - M3 motorway - M31 motorway - M0 motorway - M7 motorway - 8th main road - Veszprém north ring road - Újmajor, and Tata - road 8119 - Gánt junction, road 8123 Zámoly - Székesfehérvár - main road 8 - Veszprém north ring road, road 830 - Újmajor.
The Hungarian Armed Forces ask drivers to observe the traffic rules and approach military vehicles with due caution, as their size and speed, as well as the length and way of moving convoys, are different from what is usual in everyday road traffic. Since civilian vehicles cannot drive between the vehicles of the closed convoy, the vehicles' progress is ensured by escort vehicles at the beginning and end of the convoy.
Drivers are requested to drive in the vicinity of the military marching columns taking into account the current road conditions as well as the weather and visibility conditions.
