The 15th National Vágta in Budapest will begin today with the swearing-in of the competitors, followed by the preliminaries of Kishuszár, Fogat and the National Vágta on the Hősök a field. The final races will be held on Sunday afternoon.  

This year's 15-year-old equestrian competition series will be held on Saturday and Sunday on the track created in Hősök Square. After the preliminaries, the Saturday program continues with a historic horse gala and cart pushing competition, and in the evening, the public can watch the special Silvásvárad stud drive.

The other races, the intermediate races, as well as the finals of the international race and the National Vágta will be held on Sunday. Competitors from 12 countries will compete in the international race this year.

On the occasion of the anniversary, this year's programs of the Nemzeti Vágta are organized around the number 15: one of the most spectacular elements of the event will be the parade of 150 children on ponies.

In addition, the organizers are also preparing a traditional historical horse parade, battle scenes from 1848 and the jubilee show of the Győr Devil Riders.

The final races will be broadcast live on Sunday afternoon by the Duna channel.
