The 2023 applications of the National Cooperation Fund (NEA) were announced on Monday, the Deputy Secretary of State for Civil and Social Relations of the Prime Minister's Office announced in Budapest.

Vince Szalay-Bobrovniczky announced that the submission period for the combined applications lasts until November 2. Depending on the application category, the amount of support that can be applied for ranges from HUF 200,000 to HUF 4.5 million.

Similar to last year, in the case of formally valid but unsupported combined applications, it is possible to request HUF 150,000, which can be used for operational and professional costs related to the basic activities of the NGO. The deputy state secretary stated that the civilians will definitely receive this amount.

Vince Szalay-Bobrovniczky indicated that, in addition to the combined applications, there are also simplified ones, the submission period of which lasts from October 17 to November 16. Here, the amount of support that can be applied for ranges from HUF 100,000 to HUF 350,000.

In the case of the simplified support, the annual income value limit prescribed by decree has increased from HUF 5 million to HUF 7 million.

The deputy state secretary announced that you can apply for five so-called colleges: community environment, mobility and adaptation, national unity, social responsibility, and college for the future of new generations.

Tender notices can be found on the website of Bethlen Gábor Alapkezelő Zrt. (bgazrt.hu) and on the Civil Information Portal ( civil.info.hu ).

The grants can be applied for by civil organizations - foundations or associations - that were registered until December 31, 2021, emphasized Vince Szalay-Bobrovniczky.

He noted that civilians can also apply for compensation for their significantly increased energy costs.

The accounting period lasts from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024, the Deputy State Secretary announced.

In the press material of the event, it was written that in 2020 more than two and a half times as much state aid flowed into the civil sector as in 2010.

NEA is a special way of state support for civil organizations, where foundations and associations can apply for financing not only their professional programs, but also their operating costs.
