The Hungarian Catholic Bishops' Conference awarded the Pro Ecclesia Hungariae award to Józsefne Bartal. The award was presented on behalf of the board by the president of the conference, Dr. András Veres, county bishop of Győr, on October 3 in Budapest. With the award, the Bishops' Conference expresses its appreciation for the service that Józsefné Bartal performed in the service of the Catholic Church during her life.

Józsefné Bartal was born on September 20, 1943 in Bátyá Veronika Jánosity . He finished elementary school in Bátyá, later obtained a shorthand and typist qualification in Baján, and then graduated in Kalocsán.

He worked as a labor lecturer for 42 years, and after his retirement, he worked as a salesman in the holy goods store of the Kalocsa Cathedral for two decades.

In 1963, she married József Bartal, with whom she lived in holy matrimony for 42 years, until her husband's death in 2005. They had two daughters and a son. The religious upbringing of their children was always considered important, they attended religious education, and the Bartal family practiced the Catholic faith together. Their children entered into sacramental marriage, and the Lord has so far blessed them with nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He has been a member of the rosary troupe since he was young, and later joined the Heart of Jesus family. After its establishment, she also joined the Married Weekend movement with her husband.

After the regime change, in 1992, with the encouragement and help of the Jesuit monk Gábor Róna A seed planted in good soil yields a hundredfold, which is clearly shown by the fact that there are now thousands of members of the various St. Monica communities across the country. The goal of the Saint Monica Community of Christian Mothers is to draw their children and family members closer to God through prayer.
