For the time being, the regional flight between Marosvásárhely and Bucharest, announced for October 15, will not take off; according to the airline's statement, it has been postponed until March. Similarly, you have to wait for the start of regular flights between Cluj-Napoca and Budapest, as well as between Bucharest and Budapest.

Regarding the delay of the regional flight promised for mid-October, András Peti, director of Transilvania Airport in Marosvásárhely, told Székelyhon that the regional flight will not start on October 15 because the airline did not receive the plane it planned to operate in addition to the existing one. The Romanian airline, one of whose owners is a businessman from Marosvásárhely, will notify those who have already changed tickets for the period between October 15, 2022 and March 25, 2023, of the cancellation of flights by e-mail and by phone.

Passengers who have visited Pór either claim back the price of the trip they have already paid, or reschedule their trip to another date. In addition, they will also receive a free ticket as compensation, which they must reserve by January 15, 2023, reports the Airportal.hu internet newspaper.

The Debrecen airport was closed for a week from October 3, where repairs are being made to the runway, so flights departing from and arriving there are suspended until October 9. This measure also affects the recently launched flights between Debrecen and Cluj, Marosvásárhely and Debrecen. András Peti also confirmed this to the newspaper, as he said, there will be no flights between Marosvásárhely and Debrecen this week. Regarding the regular flights arriving and departing from Marosvásárhely - with Budapest, London, Dortmund, Memmingen-Munich destinations - there have been no changes, no flight cancellations or delays recently - answered the director of the airport.
