The author of the American CNN, John Blake, in his essay discussing the ways of American democracy and nation-building, writes that many Americans today have lost faith in the possibility of creating a modern community.

Such a nation would be multi-ethnic, he argues, peppered with many religions, reflecting the country's demographic changes. At the same time, 64 percent of Americans believe that democracy is in crisis and is in danger, he adds.

Conservative American politicians openly admire Viktor Orbán, even though many see the prime minister as a destroyer of Hungarian democracy who demonizes immigrants.

I would like to add two comments to the article with my own opinion:

"There is no "demonization", but there is a sensible concept: Hungary does not want multiculty, and it has the same right to do so as those who want multiculty in their own country."

"Demolition for these means that you consult with your population on all important issues. As America did with its entry into the world wars. Oh no."
