"Together we are strength, everywhere is weakness." I participated in one of the most important meetings of the last five months at the V4 summit in Bratislava. We have something in common for Europe and the world!" - announced in her Facebook post the President of the Republic Katalin Novák, who consulted with the heads of state of the Visegrád Four in Bratislava.

"We strongly condemn Putin's aggression, we condemn the armed attack on a sovereign independent country, we condemn the announcement of the annexation of Ukrainian territories, and also when civilian targets are bombed. The threat of using nuclear weapons is unacceptable. We will do everything in order to create the conditions for a just peace as soon as possible, as we have to preserve for our children and grandchildren the safe life that was given to us", said Katalin Novák about the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Regarding humanitarian assistance, he said: he is proud of the Hungarian people for helping without thinking, from the first day of the war, including providing shelter and accommodation to refugees from Ukraine.

Speaking about the energy crisis, the rise in energy prices and energy dependence, Katalin Novák called the recent attacks against the North Stream gas pipelines unacceptable, and the Visegrád Four demand an efficient and comprehensive investigation as soon as possible in order to avoid further attacks of a similar nature.
