In the framework of a national consultation, the government is asking people's opinions on Brussels' sanctions policy. The questionnaires will be delivered to households from Friday, and those who complete them can answer seven questions. You have until December 9th to post your replies. The government is turning to the people for the 12th time with the help of the national consultation.

In Hungary, it is customary to find the political means to create a majority or a complete national agreement, which then allows the government to manage the battles in Brussels much better than if it were not in its hands - argued Viktor Orbán in support of the national consultation that is now starting Kossuth radio's Friday morning show.

The Prime Minister stated that the sanctions against Russia were not introduced in a democratic way, it was the decision of the Brussels bureaucrats and the European elite.
Viktor Orbán added that for the time being there is still democracy in Europe and what people think matters.
