The new Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, urged common and effective solutions to Europe's current economic, energy and security challenges in her message to Viktor Orbán, which she published on her Twitter account on Saturday evening.
The president of the right-wing Italian Brothers (FdI), who was sworn in with his government on Saturday, reacted to Viktor Orbán's congratulations.
"Thank you, Viktor Orbán! I am ready to cooperate in finding common and effective solutions to the economic, energy and security challenges facing Europe. Let us act to the best of our ability!”
Giorgia Meloni wrote on her microblog.
The Italian media treated Viktor Orbán's congratulations on Twitter after the swearing-in, in which he called the formation of the Meloni government a great day for the European right.
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki also wrote about a significant day for Italy, the European Union and NATO.
"We need decisive and courageous leaders who represent enduring values. Today Europe and Poland have such an ally in Rome"
Morawiecki insisted.
