On November 3 last year, the guest of honor of the 56th event in Zalaegerszeg, Sándor Lezsák, the Vice-President of the Parliament, invited his enthusiastic audience gathered at the Museum of Victims of Communism to a meeting at the residence.

POFOSZ county president Zoltán Kiss Bódog recalled this in the columns of Zaol.hu.

Sensing the extraordinary interest and the honorable invitation, a group of 45 people set off on October 13-14, 2022, organized by the Zala County POFOSZ. The 2-day stay provided the attendees with an experience that exceeded all our expectations. The former founder of the MDF, Sándor Lezsák, and his wife established the Lakiteleki Foundation in 1991, on the former KKI Lakiteleki site. Today's systematic development of 26 hectares since 1995 can rightly be called a "real estate miracle".

On October 13th, Sándor Lezsák explained to our group in detail the 48 objects created so far in the Hungárikum Liget project and the further planned investments in the Tisza Vendégház library. The building renovations that started in 2012 and the expected developments can be evaluated as a model example of area and rural development. The folk college program based on these foundations is a guarantee of the survival and spiritual and spiritual strengthening of the Hungarian people.

The most important objects: National Cultural Institute, Christian Pantheon, RETÖRKI, Mindszenty Society, the 5,500 square meter organic greenhouse gardening and vegetable processing connected to it, Gabriella Spa, Ligetszépe Medical Institute, House of Hungarians, Vaspatkó Horseshoe, Cathedral of Hungarian Wines, Nimród Footgolf Park, Hotel Club Tisza and Wellness, Kincsem Fogadó form an organic unit and ensure sustainability. The Lakitelek Foundation's organizational and educational continuing education work covering the Hungarians of the Carpathian Basin, and its active relationship with universities, civil organizations, and municipalities, have made Lakitelek one of the knowledge centers of Hungarians.

Our group was enriched with fascinating experiences with the first-class accommodation of the Kincsem Fogadó, the service of the Tisza Restaurant and the viewing of the locations of the Hungarikum Liget project.

In 1999, the Lakiteleki Foundation transferred the entire property to the diocese of Szeged-Csanád, with a 50-year obligation to operate, maintain and develop it. The contract was signed on behalf of the owner by bishop László Dr. Kiss Rigó, on the other hand by the president of the Board of Trustees: Sándor Lezsák and its members István Bakós, László Biró, György Gálfalvi and Lajos Kassák. The director's duties are performed by Gabriella Lezsákné Sütő, who created a real friendly, familiar atmosphere in the entire facility, which our group also experienced.

Many, many housing initiative programs can become the key to Hungary's prosperity.

POFOSZ County President Zoltán Kiss Bódog thanked the supporters of the visit: the National Board of POFOSZ, the Municipal Assembly of Zala County, the Municipality of Keszthely for their financial assistance, the organizing work of the CÖF and the selfless support of the Lakiteleki Alapitvány.
