At today's press conference, Péter Szijjártó stated in response to a journalist's question regarding the Finnish-Swedish NATO accession that the government had completed its work and submitted the ratification proposal to the Parliament.

But since the middle of the summer, the parliament has been discussing the legislation, which must be created largely because of Brussels, in an extremely forced process.

- said Szijjártó, who said that he would in no case choose the tactic of urging the Parliament.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs stated that the Finns and Swedes have nothing to worry about, as the parliament will soon put the proposal on the agenda.
