Association of Subcarpathian Hungarian Large Families November 4–6. organized a presidential weekend in the association's guest house in Viska.
Since its foundation in 2012, the work of the KMNE has been supported by a board. Board members perform their activities free of charge. They meet regularly and discuss the programs, and participate in their organization and management. In addition, they represent the association and its goals in various forums.
The organization therefore holds a presidential weekend for them once a year. Board members and their family members can participate in this program. The gathering takes place with rest and conversation, but they also take time to discuss the association's current issues.
This year's weekend was held at the Vadvölgy pension in Viska, located in Nagybereznai Járás, which KMNE bought in 2019 with the support of the Hungarian government. The half-hundred-bed boarding house provides KMNE member families with the opportunity for discounted holidays all year round. In recent years, several renovations have been carried out in the guesthouse. The rooms and common areas have been beautified, and the swimming pool has been renovated. The building was also expanded with new spaces.
The members of the board of the association spent the weekend in the beautified boarding house with their family members. In addition to joint games and discussions, the board members were also able to discuss issues affecting the organization. At the end of the program, those present said a prayer of thanksgiving for the association, which is 10 years old this year, and also for the fact that the association can continue to operate effectively even during the war.
