Migrants shot again in Horgos, this time they fought a real firefight in the center of the settlement. Bálint Pásztor, the faction leader of the Hungarian Association of Vojvodina, spoke on RTV about the last time the Turks and Tatars committed such riots on the territory of the country as the migrants are doing now. The Hungarian government has allocated HUF 21.06 billion to deal with mass immigration.

The Serbian special forces, the police and the gendarmerie also had to intervene due to the armed struggle of the migrants in Horgos. On Friday, several persons were produced who, according to the suspicion, may have something to do with the shooting on Thursday night in Hórgos, Serbian RTV wrote.

The citizens of Horgos informed them that they had been hearing gunshots in the settlement since Thursday afternoon. In the Horgos - our village Facebook group, a video taken in the center of the village was published, showing immigrants rushing through the center of the settlement, while shots are being fired. Another video shows hooded men armed with assault rifles marching along Béla Bartók Street on Thursday evening. Several transport vehicles arrived at the former farm buildings located around the village. Special units armed with automatic weapons surrounded the building complex and monitored the area with the help of drones and helicopters.

The authorities have produced nearly six hundred illegal migrants, most of whom will be taken to refugee centers in southern Serbia. Six of them have been linked to Thursday night's shooting. One of those produced, a man in his twenties, was shot twice in the chest. According to the portal, the firefight broke out between groups of Moroccan and Pakistani migrants.

Serbian Interior Minister Bratíslav Gasić also arrived in the settlement yesterday afternoon. According to the portal's information, the action - which aims to produce migrants and human traffickers - will continue in the coming days. Several people at the scene told the Serbian state news agency that they no longer dare to go out at night, they are afraid of their children. They don't even dare to leave them alone in the houses. At the same time, the villagers initiated the convening of an extraordinary village meeting.

- The situation in Horgos, Martonos, Nyugat-Bácska and Subotica is also unsustainable, the last time the Turks and Tatars committed such riots in this area as the illegal migrants - Bálint Pásztor of the Vojvodina Hungarian Association (VMSZ) reacted to the events on RTV parliamentary faction leader.

The vice-president of the party reminded that since 2015, the representatives of the VMSZ have been regularly making their voices heard on the topic, thus also fighting for the safety of the citizens. The politician emphasized that some Serbian opposition politicians call him a fascist because of his position. As he put it: the VMSZ demands the protection of Serbia's southern border, the guarantee of citizens' safety, the presence of the police and gendarmerie in the field.

- In addition to the war in Ukraine, Europe must be prevented from being hit by new mass waves of illegal migration, because this would be too much for the continent at once, so close cooperation with the countries of North Africa and the Middle East, which serve as a line of defence, is necessary - said Péter Szijjártó of Külgazdasági and Foreign Minister on Thursday in Barcelona. According to the announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the head of the department emphasized after the meeting of the foreign ministers of the European Union and the countries of the Southern Partnership: the most important thing is to prevent the world food crisis from triggering new waves of migration, because they would also leave for Europe, and

Europe is not in a strong position to face two security-type challenges at the same time.

- Migrants are trying to enter the country using more and more organized and violent methods, and because of the war, it is necessary to prepare for larger waves of migration than ever before, so it is essential to strengthen the border protection - Attila Kovács told Magyar Nemzet. The Hungarian National asked the European Union research director of the Fundamental Rights Center about the point in Friday's Magyar Közlöny, according to which the government allocated HUF 21.06 billion to deal with mass immigration.

According to the director, the shooting of migrants in Horgos also clearly shows that migration has not stopped and is even increasing. He added that the protection of the country is of utmost importance to the government, which is why the salaries of soldiers and policemen were significantly increased in September, and there will be another salary increase in January 2024. To strengthen the security of the country, the border hunting regiment was created, which is specifically tasked with border protection and protection against illegal migration.
