LGBTQ Superman Jon admits to Superman that he was afraid to tell him that he loved a man because he thought he would disappoint his father. Clark's response to this:
"Every day of my life is better since you're a part of it. Every single day. The last thing that can change that is who you love. To me, anyone who makes your life better will always be a hero. And no matter what happens, I'll stand by you. I will protect you. And I will love you and I will always, always be your father.”
DC Comics announced in mid-October that the December issue would be the last of the LGBTQ-Superman series due to low sales numbers.
