They have been engaged for two years, and now the self-proclaimed objectophile British woman has decided to marry the 93-year-old chandelier, hirado.hu reported based on the Channel 4 program Steph's Packed Lunch.

Amanda Liberty was invited to Channel 4's Steph's Packed Lunch, which was all about love and relationships.

The Leeds woman is open to objectophilia, that is, she can nurture romantic feelings towards an object.

Amanda stated on the show that she doesn't see them as inanimate objects like most people.

Amanda also shared that she first fell in love with a drum kit and now plans to marry a German chandelier called Luminere.

He saw the 93-year-old chandelier for the first time on Ebay in 2016, which he says he immediately fell in love with. After seeing the nearly 100-year-old chandelier, Amanda said she "couldn't get it out of her head for two weeks."

He then ordered the chandelier, which was delivered from Germany to the city of Leeds in England, where the girl lives.

When asked how she discovered her passion for objects, Amanda replied, "I didn't understand it for a long time to be honest, but I always accepted myself even though I didn't understand it."

He then added that he is not able to have such feelings towards people, and he cited the Japanese as an example, where animism is present as a religion, which means that people perceive the energy of objects, so they are able to form an emotional bond with them.

The video below was made back in 2019, when Amanda was still planning her marriage with the chandelier.
