Our world today can teach us that we should stick less to our habits and more to our deeper values - believe the leaders of the Hungarian Province of the Piarist Order. They emphasized that it is an important process to increase the social esteem of teachers, and in addition, as school administrators, wise decisions must be made due to the energy crisis. Their goal is to get through the difficult period smartly.

- I inherited an interesting situation two years ago, when I became the Hungarian provincial chief of the Piarist order, since we think in four-year cycles, and our plans are prepared for that period. Thus, my task was to continue the work that had been started and to help implement the community decisions made earlier, Ádám Szakál, who became the head of the Piarist order in Hungary in September 2020, told Magyar Nemzet. He said that a difficult period is behind them, since he became the head of the province during the coronavirus epidemic, and the Russian-Ukrainian war broke out in February 2022.

Because of these, the Hungarian province, the maintained institutional system and the monastic communities also faced many challenges, and they tried to give appropriate answers to them.

Viktor Zsódi, provincial assistant responsible for management, director of the Piarist High School, Primary School and Kindergarten in Mosonmagyaróvár, pointed out that two years ago they started organizational development with the involvement of the entire province, and in response to the challenges, they are trying to make the system as stable and transparent as possible. Experienced civil economic and financial experts were also invited for this task. According to Ádám Szakál, thanks to this work, they are able to distinguish between everyday institution maintenance tasks and longer-term strategic issues, and they prefer the help of experts in the former area.

Viktor Zsódi also spoke to the newspaper about educational issues, while emphasizing that they are in full solidarity with their secular teachers, all the more so because they see the high-quality professional work they do. "We welcome all steps and negotiations that can increase the social respect of teachers, because this is necessary," he added. According to Zsódi, the field of education has always been changeable. As an example, he mentioned that provincial innovation days are currently being held, where hundreds of teachers working in Piarist schools share their pedagogical practices with each other. One of these experiments is that students study subjects in blocks, so that they delve more deeply into each topic.

- We consider these attempts important, because the publicists have always given space to pedagogical innovation. This is also necessary because society is constantly changing, and students struggling with new challenges require new answers.
