The European left, together with the Hungarians, is once again working to ensure that Hungary does not receive a penny of EU support, the Brussels representative group of Fidesz announced on Monday.
Tamás Deutsch pointed out that the European left, driven by a sense of superiority, threatens and wants to punish everyone who disagrees with them.
War, pandemic, economic and energy crisis and migration pressure are affecting the continent, but the European left, together with its Hungarian like-minded people, is once again dealing with defaming our country instead of proposing solutions to the real problems.
As it was written, Tamás Deutsch, the head of the Fidesz European Parliament delegation, highlighted in his speech at Monday's meeting that now, when all signs point to the fact that they are losing the political war against us, in their final desperation, without decision-making authority, they are attacking the European Commission by chanting their sick lies.
Driven by a sense of superiority, the European left threatens and wants to punish everyone who disagrees with them. With all of this, he is the one who grossly violates democratic and rule of law values and seriously undermines European cooperation, he said.
Fidesz representative Balázs Hidvéghi said in his speech that those who initiated this debate want to please themselves in the role of guardian of the rule of law. However, the reality is that they ignore the will of the people and cannot forgive the fact that the Hungarians - and more and more others in Europe - do not ask for the politics of the left, their alien and dangerous ideas.
He pointed out, these circles demanded that we sit down and negotiate - and now that we've agreed, they're only attacking us even more frustrated. "All the accusations that have been attacking Hungary for years were just plain lies," said the politician. The goal of the European left is clear, it wants the Hungarians not to receive a penny of EU support, he said. He added that we reject this shameful blackmail, and the European left hand in hand with the Hungarian left is trampling the foundations of European cooperation.
