DK may launch its own TV channel on Friday - at least this is what Ferenc Gyurcsány's suspicious post and the comments on it suggest, but portals close to the party also allude to this. The Democratic Coalition, which is methodically and now taking on the left under its belt, seems to want to overtake its competitors in the public eye as well.
"We are preparing again. There will be something to watch on December 2 from 6 p.m.," Ferenc Gyurcsány recently wrote on his social media page with his usual hunch.
The flood of comments from sympathizers began, a significant part of which decoded the message in such a way that DK could start an independent TV channel. "Won't it just have its own TV channel? But it would be great!", "Very good, we need an opposition TV channel!", "It would be great if you had your own channel! Come on, DK, we're with you!” - they said in the comments, and there was no rebuttal to the suggestion. It is also telling that, this weekend, Ellenszél.hu, which is close to the party, is preparing for another big push: they will do what the opposition has been putting off for years, citing the post "What will be seen on December 2nd" in its article.
"Regarding this, several videos have already appeared on the website of the Democratic Coalition, which lead to the conclusion that the party is starting its own television"
- wrote the portal close to DK, which also published the videos it refers to, in which public and right-wing media are harshly attacked. "For some, TV is a lie, for us it's truth", "For some, TV is the humiliation of others, for us it's the transmission of values", "For some, TV is propaganda, for us it's a public service" - such sentences are heard in DK's videos, which are all " there will be something to watch" they conclude with the slogan.
