The second Sunday of Advent has arrived, and as Christmas approaches, you have to open your heart and soul. We provide spiritual guidance for lighting the second candle.

Just like the first candle, the color of the second candle is purple, i.e. the liturgical color of Advent, but its meaning is different from the first. This candle does not symbolize faith, but hope. The Lord awakened hope in the Jews that the Messiah would come who would be one of them.

On the first Sunday of Advent, we opened our souls to others, and now it is time to give to others the strength that is ours.

Let's think about what we can do for others: don't look at what we can get back, let us be guided only by the intention to help.

You don't have to think big; a kind word, a small smile or any small gesture can please our fellow human beings.

Let's ignite the spark of hope in the souls of those who might just lack the encouragement to gain strength again. With this, we not only help them - we also help ourselves.
