Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and political director Balázs Orbán received economics professor Jeffrey Sachs, a lecturer at the most famous American universities, on Friday at the Carmelite monastery, Bertalan Havasi, head of the Prime Minister's Press Office, informed MTI.

The focus of their discussion was the war in Ukraine, they agreed on the importance of an immediate ceasefire and peace talks, and that

Western countries should be much more careful in providing military support to Ukraine.

According to Viktor Orbán and Professor Sachs, the expansion of the war must be avoided before some irreversible tragedy occurs.
