Volunteers of the foundation, which has been operating since 2013, organize leisure activities for children in hospital, make their wards friendlier with story wall paintings and interactive wall games, and make toys for them to take home.

For years, the volunteers of the Nevetnikék Foundation have been making the everyday lives of small children cared for in hospital more beautiful: often a conversation or even a card party, and of course the self-indulgent fun and laughter associated with these means a lot to the little ones who are being treated for months at a time.

Nearly four hundred people participated the foundation's story-painting program at the hospital They are present everywhere, from surgery to oncology to the psychiatry department, and even last year they launched their exercise and/or board game programs in the adult psychiatry department as well.

The house that houses their workshop, located opposite the Pécs Children's Clinic, was purchased and renovated by the organization through community donations in 2021-2022.

Péter G. Paller, the toy-making master of the Nevetnikék Foundation, works on a "treasure chest" in the organization's workshop in Pécs on December 5, 2022. The boxes are filled with toys made by volunteers, taking environmentally conscious aspects into account, and placed in the inpatient and outpatient departments of the Pécs Children's Clinic, where the children can choose from them after an examination.
