The corruption scandal of the European Parliament affects at least sixty people, and most of them are socialist or populist politicians, Origo wrote on Saturday.

The article of the online newspaper states that the "gigantic" corruption scandal in the European Parliament, whose protagonists are left-wing politicians, including the Socialist Vice-President of the European Parliament, the Greek Eva Kaili, continues to spread.

They noted that until now the general public only knew that Qatar had "bought" left-wing MEPs to lobby for the Middle Eastern monarchy, but Morocco is increasingly coming into the picture as well. They added that more information had come to light about how the Arab country tried to gain influence on EU decision-making.

According to the paper, it is not excluded that the names of new Arab countries will come up.

In this light, new light is shed on why Brussels and the left supported illegal migration, they wrote.

It was recalled that the former Socialist European Parliament member Pier Antonio Panzeri, who is currently the president of the non-governmental organization (NGO) "Fight Impunity", Francesco Giorgi, the assistant of the Socialist faction of the European Parliament, who is Kaili's partner, and Luca Visentini, who is "close to the international left" were arrested in the case the general secretary of the International Trade Union Confederation, and Niccolo Figa-Talamanca, the director of the NGO "No Peace Without Justice".

According to the article, since then at least 20 house searches have been conducted and significant sums of money and other gifts have been seized by the police. The police also confiscated mobile phones and computers. Some house searches took place in Italy, they added.

The latest development in the case was called the fact that Politico wrote about VI. In July 2014, King Mohamed of Morocco honored two people: Pier Antonio Panzeri, former Italian representative of the European Parliament, who headed the delegation of the Maghreb countries of the General Assembly, and Abderrahim Atmount, co-chairman of the EU-Morocco joint parliamentary committee.

They added that Politico claims to have seen a Moroccan government letter that identified Panzeri as a potential "important ally" or "a formidable adversary."

According to the newspaper, all this clearly indicates that the services were counting on Panzeri being able to cooperate with them in some way.

They went on to say that bringing up the Moroccan thread is also interesting from the point of view that the European Parliament, and especially its left wing, has clearly supported immigration from Arab countries in recent decades.

It was also considered important to mention that "Ms. Gyurcsány" sat at a table with Eva Kaili, involved in the corruption scandal, not only in the representative group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats, but also in the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR).

"The ECFR is a prominent gathering place of the Soros network, which embraces past and present highly influential politicians to discuss the political issues most important to them. György Soros and his son regularly speak at their events," they wrote.

They noted that the case is also interesting because the European Parliament regularly accuses Hungary of corruption.
