On Wednesdays and Thursdays between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., the Children's Railway welcomes families to the Csillebérc station for a free light rail vehicle demonstration, according to MÁV Zrt.'s announcement on Tuesday.

As it was written, as part of the real family program, two steam locomotives are also in service, and nostalgia trains commute between Széchenyi-hegy and Csillebérc. During the winter break, the trains run with decorated carriages every day.

According to the information, for children interested in trains, a small railway vehicle presentation will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at Csillebérc station, where you can take a closer look at several vehicles that are celebrating their anniversary, such as the 120-year-old Arad passenger car with an open platform, Hungary's oldest, 70-year-old C50 locomotive, the 60-year-old Mk49 locomotive and one of the well-known examples of the Mk45 locomotive series, which will be 50 years old next year, Bendegúz.

On Wednesdays and Thursdays, nostalgia trains run every 40 minutes between the venue of the program and the Széchenyi-hegy terminus at a special rate, which are carried alternately by the two operating steam locomotives of the Children's Railway. One of them, machine 490,039, returned from renovation in December, which is 80 years old this year.
