The hunger march of the socialists is tapped with the March of Knowledge. Tamás Totyik, the vice-president of the Democratic Organization of Teachers, thanked MSZP co-president Imre Komjáthi on his social media page.

The MSZP previously organized the so-called "Hunger March", during which they marched from Miskolc all the way to Budapest to protest with our poor compatriots for a better living. On one occasion, the former socialist vice-president Gábor Simon also marched , even before it was revealed that he parked hundreds of millions suspiciously in foreign bank accounts.

Imre Komjáthi, the current co-chairman of the MSZP, posted it on his Facebook page, and a journalist asked him what his movement had to do with the "knowledge march" starting on Monday. The goal of the first teachers' movement of the new year is to take the message of public education workers from the county seat of Borsod to Budapest in six days to the decision makers.

"My answer was short: I do not organize/we organize the Knowledge march (sic!), but we clearly support it!" Komjáthi declared.

An interesting comment came under the post of MSZP party leader, Tamás Totyik also commented, the vice-president of the Teachers' Union admitted that the idea came from the socialists.

We plagiarized. Thank you for your solidarity," wrote Totyik, to which Komjáthi replied, urging everyone to support the opposition teachers in plagiarism.

One of the protagonists and main organizers of the current movement is the inevitable NoÁr movement, but they are also joined by the Teachers' and Pedagogues' Unions. "In January, we will march from the Herman Ottó High School in Miskolc to the Kölcsey Ferenc High School in Budapest, where the first five teachers were fired in the fall! We will cover the distance of roughly 180 kilometers in 6 days," the event on Facebook.

The organizers plan to organize forums and discussions in the afternoons, and to hold another demonstration in Budapest on Saturday afternoon. You can also apply to them, for which they provided the noÁr website.
