In his latest video, Zsolt Bayer talked about how he thinks Brussels has gone beyond all limits. Exclusion from the Erasmus program is complete hypocrisy, as the Union again expects something from Hungary, which it itself does not fulfill, since the board of trustees of all foreign universities is full of politicians. How long will we tolerate the EU's vile actions? asks the publicist.
The European Commission once again sent a message to Hungary. Up until now, we have had reasons for countless indignation, but I think that now they have gone beyond all limits.
The new message says that the European Union, with reference to the fact that active and former politicians sit on the boards of trustees of Hungarian universities. With this reason, it withdraws the funds intended for the Erasmus program from the named Hungarian universities.
And with this, the European Commission is trying to find out with none other than Hungarian university youth.
Here's the situation, ladies and gentlemen:
Everywhere in Western Europe, university boards are full of former and active politicians. And the same is true for the United Kingdom and the United States of America, by the way. In the Bayer show, I scrutinized only Germany, Austria and Estonia. From the list of boards of trustees, senates, supervisory boards and advisory boards of 16 universities in Germany, three in Austria, and one in Estonia, I quoted the active and former politicians, provincial and former federal politicians who all sit on such and such boards of these universities. . A double standard is no longer a double standard. Today, it is not the horse's leg that is sticking out, but the whole dead horse that has begun to decompose. And on top of that, the situation is that these politicians, who sit on boards of trustees all over the world in the West, have absolutely no say in the operation of universities, since they sit there precisely to use their political influence to get as much money and as many opportunities as possible. be able to lobby for the given university. And the situation is the same in Hungary.
Compared to this, I say once again, the European Commission wants to take the money from Hungary for the Erasmus program, with this blood-curdling reason.
I think we've reached the Rubicon. I think that this is really intolerable now, and Hungary and the normal-thinking Hungarian citizens should really think about how long this all makes sense. How long is it necessary and how long are we obliged to put up with all this? And is it even possible to comply with new regulations and rules that apply only to Hungary and are otherwise completely meaningless, vile and dishonest? I don't think it is anymore.
