The Ministry of Culture and Innovation (KIM) invites Hungarians to the joint recitation of the National Anthem on the Day of Hungarian Culture, January 22.

This year, on January 22, the 200th anniversary of the National Anthem will be celebrated on the Day of Hungarian Culture. On this day in 1823, on Szatmárcsek, Ferenc Kölcsey clarified the manuscript of the national prayer of the Hungarian people, the Ministry of Culture recalled in a statement.

As they emphasized, this significant anniversary is a reminder of the community-sustaining power of national culture, the preservation, maintenance and protection of the cultural heritage of Hungarians.

on this day, he would like to draw attention to the unity of the nation, the power of the Hungarian community to belong together, and to the fact that living together is the key to the survival of the nation.

On the Day of Hungarian Culture, January 22, from 5 p.m., after the state commemoration, 200 children - 100 from the motherland and 100 from abroad - will recite the national prayer together with the President of the Republic, Katalin Novák, symbolizing the 200th anniversary, on the main steps of the Parliament, announced the KIM.

At the same time, the National Anthem will be recited at the same time in four locations across the border: Nagyvárad in Partium, Székelyudvarhely in Transylvania, Nagymegyer in the highlands and Zenta in the south, as well as in the prominent locations of the commemoration series: Kölcsey's former residence, Szatmárcsek and Veszprém, the Cultural Capital of Europe - was written.

According to the announcement, the MTVA broadcasts from the locations across the border and within the country in a live circuit.

In its communique, the Ministry of Culture and Innovation encourages everyone, Hungarian communities and individuals from across the border and here, to join in the joint recitation after experiencing the sustaining and affirming feeling of belonging to the nation.
