Another provocation was carried out by the European Parliament, which elected a militant LGBTQ activist as vice-president instead of the corrupt Eva Kaili. Luxembourgish socialist Marc Angel was at the forefront of condemning Hungary for its child protection law and is constantly campaigning for schools to start teaching children about trans and gender identities as early as possible.
The left-wing majority of the European Parliament (EP) elected an extreme LGBTQ activist as vice president to replace Eva Kaili, who was deposed due to accusations of corruption crimes. Marc Angel has hated Hungary for years because our country said no to the violent LGBTQ lobby.
The socialist representative from Luxembourg is particularly proud that he leads the EP-LGBTQ group in exerting pressure in Brussels against the Hungarian and Polish child protection measures. He expressed his joy when the European Commission announced infringement proceedings against Hungary and Poland.
His friend is a convicted revenge porn star
Marc Angel is the co-chairman of the EP-LGBTQ group, which, under his leadership, has repeatedly called for Hungary to be punished for the child protection law. Based on his Facebook page, the left-wing politician maintains a good friendship with revenge porn star Cyrus Engerer, who is also a member of the LGBTQ group and was the proposer of the draft EP resolution condemning Hungary in the summer of 2021. The Brussels representative of the Maltese Labor Party was previously sentenced by the court to a two-year suspended prison sentence after he distributed pornographic recordings of his ex-partner, who had broken up with him, with discrediting intent.
Pressure was put on the Commission
When the Commission opened proceedings regarding the Hungarian Child Protection Act, as well as against the Poles in a similar case, Marc Angel stated that their LGBTI group was at the forefront of the case and they put pressure on the Commission to act in these cases.
In his writings, he repeatedly attacked the child protection law and expressed his joy that the European Commission finally announced the breach of duty procedure against Hungary and Poland in this matter.
In an interview with Népszava in December 2021, he said: "It is true that things are going slowly, but we are maintaining the pressure, a month ago a delegation from LIBE - the parliament's civil rights committee - visited Hungary, and the European Parliament will accept their report within a week. In addition, it is expected that the ministers responsible for European affairs of the member states will meet again soon to discuss the threats to the Hungarian and Polish rule of law in the framework of the procedure according to the seventh article. Parliament is putting pressure on the Commission to act on these issues.
According to Angel, LGBTQ education should start very early for children
In a joint interview with the President of the EP, he stated that the issue of LGBTQ education in schools in all member states is extremely important, so that they get a comprehensive picture of trans and gender identities and intersexuality. According to him, all of this should be made available to all age groups, and LGBTQ issues should be taught in schools very early.
In a Facebook post, criticizing the Hungarian child protection law, he bragged that he had made a video of the Pride parade for Luxembourg's RTL, which will be shown in a news program specifically for children.
The Luxembourg politician-activist considers it a great achievement that the EP has declared the European Union an LGBTQ zone, which he believes is a strong message to Poland and Hungary. Angel makes sure to constantly promote the rainbow ideology with his appearance: he carries his LGBTQ flag highlighting transvestites and transgenders (that is, those who have undergone surgeries) with him almost everywhere, and even wears it with other LGBTQ accessories.
