Karner said that, according to the data, more and more Tunisians and Indians are applying for asylum in the EU. He stated that these citizens have virtually no chance of asylum, but they do have the right to proceed with the procedure. According to the politician, the number of people applying for asylum status has increased drastically in recent months.

"Those who have no chance of a positive assessment should be expelled with immediate effect," he noted.
