Information from the National Information Center also revealed that, in addition to America, the propaganda website Ezalényeg received nearly HUF 1 billion in funding from Switzerland.

In mid-January, the case of the left-wing campaign financing scandal that broke out in the fall of 2022 gained new momentum. spoke for the first time in August, in a Magyar Hang podcast , about the funding of the left's election campaign from America. At first, it was only about hundreds of millions, but by November it was revealed that about 3 billion US dollars had arrived through the Action for Democracy linked to Dávid Korányi.

The encrypted information of the National Information Center has now been unlocked. The document became available on the website of the National Security Committee of the Parliament.

The report reveals that the amount disbursed by Korányi's Action for Democracy is roughly HUF 160 million higher than the balance of public transfers so far.

According to this, the total amount is HUF 3 billion 174 million.

58 percent of this went to Péter Márki-Zay's Everyone's Hungary Movement.

The other novelty that emerges from the report is that the operator of the expiry portal Ezalényeg, Oraculum 2020 Kft., received HUF 887 million from another source in addition to the HUF 1 billion 82 million referred by Action for Democracy. The donor was a Swiss foundation, which sent support in five installments - it is not yet known from what and from where.

The transfers were made between September 2021 and February 2022, i.e. during the primary election and the election campaign.

The report also questions whether the AfD would have really transferred the donations of Hungarians living in the diaspora, as claimed by the Korányis. Dávid Korányi and Christopher Maroshegyi did not submit the AfD's registration documentation to the competent office in New York until March 9, 2022: so they initiated hundreds of millions of transfers even though their organization did not even officially exist.

During the registration documentation, the Korányis indicated that large sums of money (over $25,000) will also be sent to their account, which - due to the low number of donors that became known in the meantime - calls into question whether the AfD would have built its financial resources on micro-donors.

They add: it can also be established that behind the AfD are people who can be directly linked to the American Democratic Party. The law firm involved in registration is also declared to be one of these, the document reads.
