Skilled colleagues work in the Átlátszó.hu team, they can even make Balázs Orbán, whom everyone else, know. In addition, the Prime Minister's political director answers their questions - unlike many opposition politicians when asked by conservative media.

Our colleague addressed Balázs Orbán at the Mathias Corvinus conference, asking why it is a problem if a Hungarian news portal receives financial support from abroad. According to the answer, it is a problem if the customer who pays for the music also orders a song he likes. To this, the journalist denied that their articles were written according to the wishes of the clients and referred to the fact that they had an accurate statement of their financial background. That's probably the case, there's just a bit of a bug. Their supporters include the fundraising organization Benevity, which also accepts and distributes anonymous donations. So we know that the juice is falling, but we do not know who donates from there to the benefit of the Seers. In other words, in the words of Balázs Orbán, who pays for the music? The image would be clear if its origin were also transparent. It is conceivable that even organizations and private individuals could be behind the source of money, with whom, if they were known, Átlátzó would perhaps not be happy to cooperate.

It's a shame that the system isn't so transparent.
