The Finnish transvestite, who had been visibly concentrating until then, lost her balance at one point and continued to slide on her knees. She couldn't even get up from there on her own, so a young girl holding a flag glided over to her and helped Minna-Maaria up, which was broadcast live on Finnish public television.
This was not the first ice dance performance for the man dressed as a woman. In 2020, he dressed as a geisha, painted his face white and tried to perform figures on ice to Japanese music.
