An unjust peace is unacceptable

In my celebratory speech, in connection with the current topics of discussion, I will recall that we jointly announced the Szent István 2025 program . The purpose of this is to show that, despite the historical storms, the Hungary of Szent István provided protection to the peoples living here. The emblem of Great Hungary, as well as the Székely and the historical Transylvanian flags, worry some politicians of the successor states, because even though more than a hundred years have passed since the Trianon peace decree, the passage of time has not made the unjust peace acceptable. Symbols of this uneasiness are the recent move and the sports dispute regarding the symbol of Great Hungary

said Zoltán Lomnici senior.

The symbol of Great Hungary is not offensive

Regarding the symbol of Great Hungary, the former chief judge emphasized that, in his opinion, the symbol symbolizing St. István's Hungary does not divide the peoples of the Carpathian basin, but should inspire respect. "He does not incite anyone, he does not offend anyone, no matter what those who attack the symbol of Great Hungary claim," said the elder Zoltán Lomnici.

In connection with the Trianon peace decree, he also pointed out the absurdity that of the regional states that existed in 1920, only Austria and Romania exist today, and Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia do not.

"Things are constantly changing," he added.
