According to the decision of the National Electoral Commission (NVB), the politician of the Democratic Coalition, Judit Ráczné Földi, can take up the vacant parliamentary mandate, so the DK politician can sit in the parliament instead of László Kordás, who died tragically suddenly, the Magyar Nemzet has learned.
Although the Gyurcsány party believes that their faction is being expanded by such a talented woman who also knows rural Hungary well, the nomination of Judit Ráczné Földi as local representative of Székesfehérvár was not successful on the left.
"I call on Ferenc Gyurcsány to withdraw the nomination of the DK politician who lied about her offshore companies!" János Stummer wrote in his Facebook post. The former Jobbik politician, who recently transferred to Momentum, believes that Judit Ráczné Földi, the DK politician, did exactly what the DK officially criticizes in principle: she lied and cheated. "By nominating Ráczné Rácz to the parliament in place of László Kordás, who died tragically suddenly, the DK is trying to legitimize lying in a sly, indefensible, and unacceptable way," explained Stummer.
Speaking to Telex, Ferenc Gelencsér, the president of Momentum, also explained that it does not fit into the values of Momentum, I think that it does not fit into the values of the coalition, but I will go further, it cannot fit into the values of the Democratic Coalition that an offshore knight is a member of parliament to be a representative.
Ákos Hadházy also objected to Ráczné Rácz's parliamentary mandate on his social media page. According to the independent member of parliament, it sends a bad message if an opposition party is interested in the offshore company, but gives the mandate to a politician who rejects it. According to Hadházy, such decisions show that the party has learned nothing from the election failure. In the opposition primary election in 2021, it was indeed raised against the politician that he was involved in the operation of a night club in Székesfehérvár, and that he may have something to do with an offshore company.
Despite all this, however, the DK assured the Székesfehérvár municipal representative of its support, emphasizing:
Judit Ráczné Földi is an honest politician, so DK will go to hell for her.
