The JóKor magazine will soon reach all pensioners: the Hungarian government considers it important that the elderly are informed about all measures that affect them, so the newspaper contains the most important information of public interest, Zsolt Nyitrai, chief adviser to the prime minister, said on his Facebook page on Sunday.
Finance Minister Mihály Varga said in the video: pensioners can count on the government, this is considered a matter of honor.
He reminded: in 2010, they promised that pensions would preserve their purchase value. It was not only preserved, but also increased by 20 percent, he added.
The Minister of Finance pointed out that 2022 and 2023 are about value stability, as pensions were increased by 15 percent on January 1st. Not only was it increased, but the 13th monthly pension will also be preserved during this period, they were able to restore it not in four years, but in two years.
Therefore, pensioners can count on the government, whether it is a question of utility protection or protection against inflation, stressed Mihály Varga.
Zsolt Nyitrai, the prime minister's chief adviser, spoke in the video about how the Hungarian government respects and values the elderly. In accordance with the request of the Council of the Elderly, pensioners will be informed firsthand and directly about the measures affecting them.
The tool for this is the JóKor magazine, which contains the most important information for the elderly. They can find out everything about, for example, the 13th monthly pension, which was taken from them by the left, and which the bourgeois government led by Viktor Orbán is sending in an increased form this February. Look for JóKor magazine in mailboxes! said Zsolt Nyitrai.
According to the post, in the magazine you can read, for example, how the Hungarian pension system works, what dangers lurk for the elderly in the digital world, and what screening tests experts recommend.
