Yesterday, both the Russian and American presidents sent messages to each other and to the world regarding the war in Ukraine. In his speech in Warsaw, Biden referred to a Cold War atmosphere, continued to support Ukraine and declared that Russia could never win the war. According to the president, NATO is stronger than ever, but according to him, the West is now faced with decisions that will determine the global situation for decades.

"Kiev still stands proud and free," Joe Biden began his speech. The American president arrived in the Polish capital after his surprise visit to Kyiv on Monday, where he held a meeting with Polish President Andrzej Duda, while today he will also participate in the Bucharest Nine summit of the group of Eastern European NATO member states.

The US president says Russian President Vladimir Putin challenged the whole world, NATO and "all democracies" when he attacked Ukraine last year. He added: Although Putin believed that he would overrun Ukraine with his tanks, "democracy turned out to be too strong" - his statements were met with applause.

The West wants to turn the local conflict in Ukraine into a global confrontation, Vladimir Putin said in his message to the two houses of the Russian Parliament in Moscow on Tuesday. The Russian president emphasized: "the West started the war, and we used our power to stop it." Putin also pointed out that Western sanctions will achieve nothing. Although the most expected announcement about the general mobilization was missed, Putin hinted that Russia's territorial acquisition goals - contrary to the communication so far - do not stop at the two separatist areas in eastern Ukraine.

"I bow deeply to the soldiers and their families," Russian President Vladimir Putin began his speech in the Kremlin, praising the "sacrificing" role of those participating in the "special military operation." As the Russian president put it: it is essential that those participating in special operations receive at least 14 days of annual leave. The Russian president's statement was also met with applause. He added: "we understand how unbearable it is for the family members of fallen soldiers." Putin promised "targeted help" for such families.

The Russian president also pointed out that Moscow continues to "face Nazi threats and hatred" in Kiev. We did our best to solve this problem peacefully, we wanted negotiations, but behind our backs they were working on a completely different plan

- Putin referred to the West, whose commitment to peace, according to him, proved to be "a fraud and a cruel lie". He added that they turned a blind eye to political assassinations and unacceptable treatment of believers.

According to him, if Moscow does not start the "special military operation", then the West - using Ukraine - would have launched a "punitive action" against Russia, first against the Donbass and then against the Crimean peninsula, and they can "prove it with documents" that have already been sent to them. also to the UN Security Council, he said.

The Russian president blamed the West as a whole for starting the war and for turning a local conflict into a global confrontation.

Civelek Info: We live in a strange world. Biden's trip to Ukraine was "permitted" by Putin, who personally guaranteed the president's safety. In the meantime, the sirens sounded, we don't know for the sake of effect, or if they actually detected a threat in Kiev. Biden embraced Zelensky, his man and will give everything to continue the war in the future. In Warsaw, the president envisioned the fantastic power of NATO. It is correct that NATO should be strong, if only because we are members of it, but it is a defense organization, it cannot be used for attack. In theory! Not even a pre-emptive strike I knew? However, according to the Russian president, NATO is preparing for an attack, he has documents about this and he was deceived by the negotiations. (Cf. Minsk! ed.)

In the meantime, no one talks about peace, and they point at each other as to why this is not possible. However, the goals are clear. The proxy war will continue. According to the well-known game theory test: the cars rush towards each other, the question is who will get the steering wheel first. Both drivers are waiting for the last moment. If they fail, they both die. Or the loser can even play Russian roulette.

Obviously, the messaging must end, this is what the whole world wants, especially the suffering Ukrainian and Russian people, families, and children. Everyone stepped out from behind the curtain. The real negotiating parties have been exposed in the last two days.

Be that as it may, it doesn't matter who started it, as long as there is finally a ceasefire, peace, let them sit at the two ends of any long table and negotiate. And let the guns be silent. Otherwise, it may be too late for both of them to catch the steering wheel and then the big bang will come!
