I would like to highlight only one of the many important parts of Viktor Orbán's year-end speech, which, however, points to perhaps the most serious point of the current emergency situation. And this is his statement that Europe is actually already indirectly at war with Russia.
The Prime Minister is absolutely right. In fact, this is so true that what I am saying is perhaps surprising, but
in my opinion, the fact that the war has not yet escalated, and that Russia and NATO have not come face to face with each other, mainly depends on Putin's good judgment.
The democratic leadership of the United States, NATO under their control, the European Union slavishly following their will and, of course, Zelensky, controlled by the Americans, are slowly doing everything together to plunge us into the abyss of a world war.
Of course, it is possible to say and assert that the West does nothing but help the attacked party, Ukraine, which has the right to defend itself, but otherwise does not interfere in the fighting, which Ukraine is fighting on Ukrainian lands, in defense of Ukrainian territorial unity.
And the leaders of the West, the United States and the Union are really saying this and adding that they are doing it all for the sake of peace.
But where is the line between helping the defense of the attacked party and the fact that the West, NATO, is now even interfering in the war? And does he involve his so-called ally, the European Union, in this war?
Just think of Germany! What "development" has their position undergone since the outbreak of the war until today? We could say that they have gone from the starting point of almost complete non-intervention to the red line of joining the war.
József Boldogult Torgyán, former leader of the Small Farmers' Party and minister of the first Orbán government, had a famous saying: "I wonder how the post-communist MSZP got from Marx to Fotex!"
If we now look at the current state of Germany, we have to ask the question in Torgyán style: how did Scholz's left-wing government get from helmets to sending Leopard tanks to Ukraine?
Orbán stated clearly and precisely:
If you deliver weapons, if you provide the satellite information necessary for military operations, if you train the soldiers of one of the warring parties, if you finance the operation of the entire state apparatus, and you impose sanctions on the other party, then no matter what you say, you are at war, for the time being an indirect war . The danger of drifting in has become permanent. It started with helmets, continued with the delivery of devices not suitable for taking human life, now we are sending tanks, and fighter planes are already on the agenda, and soon we will hear about so-called peacekeeping troops.
Orbán does not say these things by chance, his information is more accurate than all of us.
Two views are directly opposite each other. One belongs to the USA and NATO, the other belongs to the Hungarian government and the overwhelming majority of the Hungarian people.
They say that we will reach peace through war, that is, by winning over Russia and Putin, and then peace negotiations can begin.
And we say that we will reach peace by suspending the war, a ceasefire, and then through peace negotiations.
But let's see: what lies behind the two positions?
According to the American democrats - and the global, Davos elite behind them - Russia is a war criminal, which will have to answer for its actions in a Nuremberg-style trial, and peace negotiations are not possible, because Russia is not right in anything, nothing can be negotiated with it, only its total defeat is the only solution. As in the case of Germany in the First and Second World Wars. ("Germany must perish!" - wrote the Americans.) OK, the attacking party, the aggressor, is indeed Russia, but they must know one thing: Russia will not surrender, so then this will end in a world war, and we cannot even end the nuclear war Who.
On the other hand, one cannot fail to take into account that before the war, the West acted towards Russia in a way that almost did not take into account the interests of the former great power. Therefore, although Russia is indeed the aggressor,
peace cannot be achieved by the other side practically destroying Russia, regardless of what happened before the outbreak of war,
what led to this point, what harms were inflicted on Russian interests. That is why we need peace negotiations and a peace in which the legitimate points of both sides are taken into account.
Washington and Brussels learned nothing from the 20th century. century.
And if this does not change, destruction awaits us.
