This is geographically a regional war, but its effects are worldwide, and we are in the 25th hour to prevent it from becoming a world war - Péter Szijjártó described the situation in the Parliament in his speech before the agenda on Monday. It is clear that the situation in the world is becoming more and more tense, and the war conflict in Ukraine is escalating more and more. Apparently, more and more countries are on the side of war, while in Europe only Hungary and the Vatican are advocating for a cease-fire and the conclusion of peace as soon as possible, and rejecting arms deliveries. In the meantime, it also became quite clear that the sanctions imposed a year ago meant nothing against Russia, even though at the time all Western leaders were talking about the measures leading to the collapse of Moscow.

The war between Russia and Ukraine has been going on for more than a year now, and the chronicle of this more than a year is devastating. Hundreds of thousands of people died, millions of people were forced to flee their homes, hundreds of thousands of families were torn apart, many thousands of people were forcibly conscripted, and parts of the country were destroyed. Meanwhile, the European economy is struggling. This is geographically a regional war, but its effects are global and we are in the 25th hour to prevent it from becoming a world war -

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó spoke about all this on Monday in the Parliament.

If the West did not support Ukraine only in a humanitarian way, then Ukraine would collapse. Ukraine has no weapons, its stocks are exhausted. People are literally caught with a lasso, and from here on the option for them is the following: they lower the 18-year-old age limit or raise the 60-year-old age limit. Both are vile. Ultimately, women are called up, but they cannot be assigned to combat units. So what's next? They call in an outside party: this would be called the Third World War. Zelensky tried to bring us to the brink of the third world war a few times when he announced that Poland was fired with a Russian SZ-300 missile, while it turned out that they were Ukrainian missiles. Fortunately, we have managed to get away with it so far, but we don't know how long we will be so lucky - György Nógrádi previously told Origo.

The European Union and its member states have suffered enormous financial losses since the war broke out, and we feel its negative effects on our skin every day - said Attila Demkó, head of the Mathias Corvinus Collegium's Geopolitics Workshop, in an interview with Origo earlier. According to Attila Demkó, the end of the war is still far away, and until then Europe will suffer even more losses. According to the workshop leader, left-wing progressive circles refer to the victory of democracy in Ukraine, but they only cause an even more serious war.

Unfortunately, the possibility of the outbreak of the Third World War cannot be ruled out, for several reasons. On the one hand, it appears from time to time that new countries - Belarus, Moldova, etc. – they can become directly involved in the fights. On the other hand, the Western countries involve themselves more and more deeply in the conflict, which makes it more and more difficult for them to get out of it, even if the question of a direct conflict with Russia arises - András Kosztur told Origo about this.

The escalation of the war has not yet been stopped by sanctions. A year ago, President Joe Biden envisioned a 50 percent decrease in the performance of the Russian economy as a result of the sanctions, the German foreign minister directly spoke of the collapse of the Putin regime, and Ursula von der Leyen saw the collapse of Moscow's war machine in the sanctions. JP Morgan forecast a GDP drop of 12 percent, the Institute of International Finance (IIF) a 15 percent drop, and Russian economic analysts themselves did not consider a 30 percent drop to be out of the question, Mandiner Makronom wrote.

The reality reflects well the West's rhetoric about the entire war, which is based on propaganda and not facts. The Russian economy shrank by only 2.2 percent last year. According to the forecast of the International Monetary Fund, Russia's GDP will grow by 0.3 percent this year and by 2.2 percent in 2024, despite the sanctions.

Seeing the achievements and failures achieved in one year, the counterproductive effects of the sanctions policy, the offensive conducted on any basis, Russia's economic adaptability and counter-sanctions measures, it is really difficult to determine who actually has the gun in this absurd and illogical hunt.

SO FAR, THE SITUATION APPEARS THAT RUSSIA IS NOT ONLY GETTING OUT OF THE ROLE OF THE BAGS, BUT IS ALSO DRESSING UP AS A HUNTER -

says the author of Mandiner, drawing the lesson: "and if he also loads the gun, then the Hungarian Prime Minister will be 100 percent right, who said a few days ago: the sanctions were aimed at Russia, but they hit Europe".
