Bratislava must clearly know that increasingly active participation in the military support of the Kyiv regime leads to an unpredictable and dangerous escalation of the conflict, the Russian embassy in Slovakia pointed out, v4na.com reports .

The supply of weapons and military equipment, including aircraft, to the Kyiv regime only prolongs military activities, multiplies the number of victims, including civilians, and does not contribute at all to the solution of the crisis in Ukraine, as Bratislava claims, wrote on his official Telegram channel Russian Embassy in connection with the Slovak government's approval of the delivery of its MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine.

The Russian embassy also drew Slovakia's attention to the fact that "the transfer of Soviet or Russian military equipment to Kiev is illegal, as the relevant Russian-Slovak agreements expressly exclude the transfer of military equipment to third countries without the permission of the country of manufacture".

As they wrote, Bratislava should know that increasingly active participation in the military support of the Kyiv regime entails an unpredictable and dangerous escalation of the conflict, for which the responsibility rests entirely with the initiators of the decisions made.

Polish President Andrzej Duda also recently announced that Poland will hand over MiG-29s to Ukraine, and that the war-torn country will receive the first planes in the next few days. Slovakia plans to hand over its fighter jets in coordination with the Poles.
