At the beginning of March, the case in which a teacher of an elementary school in Hajdúság had physical contact with his own student came to light. In the case, the Püspökladány Police Department has completed the investigation, and sent the documents to the Püspökladány District Prosecutor's Office, which will make a substantive decision in the case after evaluating and analyzing the evidence. .
As previously written, the Berettyóújfalu Tankerületi Központ stated in response to a question that in the spring of 2022 they received a parent's report that a teacher of the elementary school under their maintenance may have committed abuse against a minor student. The teacher met several times in the afternoon with the 8th-grade child, with whom he also established a physical relationship.

Recently, the case of Zsolt B., who boasted of similar acts, received serious publicity. The pedagogical assistant of Gyula Krúdy English-Hungarian Bilingual Primary School, who has since been fired, bragged on social media that she had a 15-year-old lover. The man, who is known as an LGBTQ activist, also produced homoerotic videos of himself, which were also accessible to students, and he also lamented that "14-year-olds fall for him". After Zsolt B's videos reached the wider public, a complaint was filed against him. The authorities also searched the house of Zsolt B. The investigation is still ongoing.

But a pedophile scandal broke out in Békés County as well. According to the suspicion, a 13-year-old girl may have been molested by a history teacher. Currently, it is known that the child's father was also arrested in the case, as he may have harmed the little girl earlier.
In order to prevent such cases, the governing parties put into perspective the tightening of legislation.
