Poland has invoiced the European Union two billion euros for the weapons and military equipment handed over to Ukraine - Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stated in an interview with RMF radio - Written by oroszhirek.hu .

"We billed two billion euros, and this is very good news for Poland, very good news for the Polish budget, which I brought from the European Council summit," Morawiecki said.

He noted that Poland will use this money to purchase modern weapons and military equipment.

"Two billion euros can be rounded up to ten billion zlotys. With this money, we can replenish our supplies and provide ourselves with modern equipment," said the Prime Minister.

He said that Poland has so far received a maximum of 200 million euros from the European Union for arms deliveries to Ukraine.

Russia previously sent a list to NATO countries regarding arms deliveries to Ukraine. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that any arms shipment destined for Ukraine would be a legitimate target for Russia. According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, NATO countries are "playing with fire" by supplying weapons to Ukraine.

According to Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov, the pumping of weapons into Ukraine from the West does not contribute to the success of the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations and would have a negative impact. According to Lavrov, the United States and NATO are directly involved in the conflict in Ukraine, "among other things, not only by supplying weapons, but also by training personnel... in the territory of the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy and other countries."
