As an example, the people of Csikszereda once again passed their exams with flying colors on Easter Sunday morning, at the traditionally held open-air food dedication. This time, thousands of the faithful lined up in an orderly manner in and around Szabadság Square and took part in the ceremony celebrated by the retired auxiliary bishop József Tamás. - reports the Székelyhon news portal.

This year, Szabadság Square and its surroundings were once again filled with people from Csikszereda and the surrounding area for the Easter Sunday ceremony and mass, which is also referred to as the largest food consecration in the Carpathian Basin. At the event organized with the participation of the priests, church councilors and choir of the Holy Cross Parish, the faithful received a blessing for the Easter food they had brought in their baskets, which the priests sprinkled holy water with the help of the ministers.

At the end of the ceremony, those gathered sang the Hungarian and Székely national anthems.
