Billboards urging the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine appeared across the country on Monday. According to the inscription "Ruszkik haza" on the poster, the campaign was commissioned by the Facebook group Nyugati Pályán and was supported by the US Embassy in Budapest, Telex reported .

According to the portal's report, the website Nyugati Pályán is operated by the communication agency FLOW PR (Splendidea Communications Kft.) with the support of the US Embassy in Budapest, with the aim of "addressing those who are interested in Hungary's present and future, where we are going, what path we are taking" .” According to the creators, Hungary belongs to the West, and they want to convince as many people as possible that it is worth staying on this path in the future.

According to Ad Library data, HUF 138 million have been spent on Facebook ads since 2019, making them thirteenth in the list of the largest Hungarian political and public advertisers, Telex noted, and then contrasted American-financed propaganda with the Hungarian government's official communication, which it is based on an immediate ceasefire and pro-peace.
