The Holy Father will arrive in our country in two weeks.

Tamás Tóth , the secretary of the Hungarian Catholic Bishops' Conference, told about the visit of Pope Francis in M1's Ma este program that two months of planning work is behind the three-day papal visit. He said that Pope Francis is a direct person, he completely trusts the Hungarian organizers, who have put together a rich and meaningful program for the faithful.

The special event of the Holy Father's visit will be the Sunday Mass on April 30 in Budapest's Kossuth Square, to which faithful are expected not only from Hungary, but also from beyond the borders.

At the ceremony, which can be attended without registration, the Holy Father and the concelebrants will be in mass vestments designed by a Hungarian nun, so the uniqueness of the mass that begins at 10:30 is reflected in the vestments.

Tamás Tóth also announced that they are preparing for every program of Pope Francis in Budapest with a full house, there is huge interest in the visit of the Bishop of Rome to Hungary. The organizers expect 10,000 to 12,000 fans at the Papp László Sports Arena, whose work will be assisted by around 300 scouts and many, many volunteers. The secretary of the Hungarian Catholic Bishops' Conference said in this regard,

they waited until April 17 for the applications of those volunteers who wish to participate in the organization of the papal visit, which will certainly be a great experience for them.

Tamás Tóth said that Pope Francis' visit is given an ecumenical character by the fact that the representatives and believers of sister churches are also welcome at the events.

If someone cannot participate in the events of the papal visit, they will not be left without a spiritual experience, because the public media broadcasts all the programs of Pope Francis in Hungary.
