He was brutally murdered by the communists, now a series is starting about the martyred priest (VIDEO)

The first part of the eight-part series will be shown on Hír TV on April 24.

János Brenner was martyred in 1957 as a victim of communism. The brutally murdered priest was beatified in 2018.

In the series, the creators not only want to present the life and teachings of the priest who died young, but also examine the circumstances of his mysterious death. The title of the series "Be with love" refers to the fact that even though the priest's life had a tragic end, evil can never triumph over good in the end.

The announcer of Hír TV reveals that the viewer can follow the events from the perspective of a young blogger, Áron Darvasi. Darvasi travels to the priest's birthplace, Rábakethely, where he does research and uncovers his story. The central location of the events is Szentgotthárd and its surroundings. In addition to the actors mainly from Zalaegerszeg, Zsófi Szamos, Gábor Csőre and Attila Lőte also appear in the film.

The series was filmed from February to May last year. After the premiere episode on April 24, the new episodes will arrive on Hír TV on weekday evenings.
