Tamás Deutsch, the head of the Fidesz European Parliament group, sent a letter to the MEPs in response to the letter addressed to the President of the European Commission by the leaders of the left-wing factions of the EP, in which the leaders of the five left-wing factions repeatedly assert untruths and urge the further withholding of EU funds that rightfully belong to Hungary for political reasons - Fidesz-eu reported .

The politician's open letter is published without changes.

"Dear fellow representatives!

In the past few days, the leaders of the five left-wing factions of the European Parliament addressed a letter to the President of the European Commission, in which they repeatedly stated serious untruths and expressed their concern regarding certain legislative developments in Hungary.

In the letter, they voiced their political expectation that the European Commission should not grant Hungary access to the resources of the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) under any circumstances, citing certain legislative amendments planned in Hungary as an excuse.

About the procedure of the five faction leaders, for us, Hungarians of good will, the absurdity of the communist dictatorship of the 1950s, organized by the state party and the political police, the so-called the court verdicts declaring the guilt of " accused " had already been decided well in advance.

We never thought that the practice of the inhumane dictatorships of the 20th century could become a reality again in the free Europe of the 21st century! For many years, the left-wing factions of the European Parliament have been initiating and continuing conceptual procedures against Hungary and the Hungarians. In one of these conceptual procedures, the conditionality procedure, which is ongoing between the Government of Hungary and the European Commission, the leaders of the left-wing factions are now demanding the making of a decision which they have already decided well in advance, which will definitely condemn Hungary.

The Hungarians of good will reject as firmly as possible the method reminiscent of the concept trials of the 50s, which seeks to implement crude political pressure disguised in legal garb.
