Tucker Carlson shared a two-minute video on Twitter early Thursday morning Hungarian time, in which he talked about Fox News and the American media, BBC reports .
In the video, the reporter did not reveal the reason for his departure from Fox News, nor did he report on his future plans, but he spoke for the first time since leaving the channel, Mandiner reports .
Carlson spoke of "how incredibly stupid most of the talk on TV is ," but added that " when honest people speak the truth calmly and without embarrassment, they have tremendous power."
The popular TV personality added:
“The United States is looking more and more like a one-party state. This is a depressing realization. ”
He then ended his speech with a question:
„Where else can you find Americans who speak the truth? The room for maneuver has narrowed, but there is still room to turn."
