"Orbán's zero tolerance is over. Budaházy is free! The government is strengthening artificially established Jewish organizations against the independent Mazsihisz representation," stated Heisler, who believes that the renewal of Jewish cemeteries, the synagogue reconstruction program, friendship with Israel, high-spirited commemorations, physical security are just decorations, behind this the destruction of Hungarian Jewry, its traditions and its independence is being terminated.

"Fear reigns in our synagogues", "What EMIH (Egyséséges Hungarian Israelite Hitközség), with its Chabad-Lubavitch identity, is doing to Orthodoxy in Hungary is a crime against Judaism," wrote András Heisler, president of Mazsihisz, in his Facebook post

"The inclusion of the Hungarian Autonomous Israelite Community (MAOIH) means the elimination of hundreds of years of Hungarian Orthodox traditions. The EMIH's land-occupation action created a state of war: 80 years after the Holocaust, the members of the traditional Orthodox community are trying to escape their holy scrolls, Torahs and books containing holy texts from the EMIH's robbery," he continued .

He then went on to say that "meanwhile, EMIH ruthlessly and immediately blocked MAOIH's accounts, invaded and physically occupied the Kazinczy Street synagogue, which is considered an emblematic location in the Orthodox movements of the world, with the help of the police" .

"The new president of EMIH  is unworthy to be the leader of any Jewish community"

Heisler stated in the post that "the new president elected irregularly and probably by fraud by EMIH is unworthy to be the leader of any Jewish community . During the past years, he has become a despised person within the Jewish community with his hatred and slanders committed for nefarious reasons". For this disgraceful task - not by chance - EMIH could only find such a person.

The president of Mazsihisz believes that the Hungarian government's decision to recognize the new MAOIH representation shocked all decent Jews - even though this is a logical continuation of the previous practice.

"As part of the NER, EMIH enjoys privileges and protections that have now made them completely out of control.

The connection is clear," he emphasized.

"From the Jewish side, the EMIH justifies everywhere, in everything, the government's actions related to Jews. He leads the world astray, if necessary he slips, if necessary he lies, his press launches fake news campaigns against the leaders of Mazsihisz," he added.

"Among these scenes, the destruction of Hungarian Jewry is taking place"

"Orbán's zero tolerance is over. Budaházy is now free ! The government is strengthening artificially established Jewish organizations against the independent Mazsihisz representation," Heisler stated.

Renovation of Jewish cemeteries, synagogue reconstruction program, friendship with Israel, uplifting commemorations, physical security. "Among these scenes is the destruction of Hungarian Jewry, the termination of our traditions and independence," he listed.

"Let there be servility above all else! This is the government's expectation of the new president of Mazsihisz, who will be elected on Sunday. This has happened before in our history. At that time, the Jews condemned Israel, which was fighting for its life, with harsh words. There have been times like this, when Jewish traditions were banished from the lives of families. At the Mazsihisz election on May 14, we will decide whether we want this again," András Heisler looked into the future.

"Fear reigns in our synagogues"

He then expressed his opinion on the current situation. "There is fear in our synagogues today. Fear of the future, of complete uncertainty.

If we are not strong, our diaspora will slowly fall apart and the heritage of our ancestors will be lost."

"And after the disgrace, EMIH will be able to rage within itself. However, they are wrong about this. With today's growth, they only increase the depth of their future fall. And if they are in trouble, the way they came, they will leave here and leave nothing but destruction and emptiness," he said.

"We have no other choice, we have to turn to each other and pray to the Almighty. To go to our synagogues and to "get lost in the everyday" - as Prime Minister József Antall once said. We are sad!" András Heisler concluded his thoughts.
