In Poland, the ranking of the most "inclusive", LGBTQ-friendly public education institutions is made public for the fifth time.

The catalog compiled with the active participation of civil organizations revealed that public education institutions in big cities are the most "inclusive." The coordinator of the program explains the decline in the ranking of rural schools with the previous statement of the head of the relevant ministry, which drew a parallel between the suicides and the spread of LGBTQ ideology.

The completed ranking revealed which public education institution in Poland is the most LGBTQ-friendly, "inclusive, diverse institution". In Poland, civil society activists - together with parents and local government representatives - announced the results of the ranking of LGBTQ-friendly schools for the fifth time.

The establishment of the final ranking was based on the results of a twenty-item questionnaire filled out by the applicants to the given school. The questions touched on both discrimination and the situation of local LGBTQ communities.

The results of the survey showed that the most "inclusive" schools are located in the big Polish cities.

Collegium Gedanense in Gdańsk took the first place, followed by the schools in Warsaw, Olsztyn, Poznań, and Łódź. Only one institution that operates in a settlement with less than 20,000 inhabitants was among the first ten schools. The coordinator of the program, Dominik Kuc, said that schools are becoming more and more accepting in Poland, surveys have shown that not only the quality of education, but also the local environment, openness, and the presence of an accepting atmosphere are important factors in choosing a particular school.
