the Washington Post , the Ukrainian president would have retaliated for the government's "Kremlin-friendliness" with a sabotage action against Hungarian industry.

An article containing shocking claims was published by The Washington Post. Referring to Pentagon materials leaked on the Discord platform, which have not yet been made public, but obtained by WP, it practically claims that while Zelenskyy presents to the West the image of a politician fighting for peace, calm and in control of the situation, while in private he is aggressive and escalating his urgent instincts come to the fore.

As they write: the basic condition of Washington and its allies' arms deliveries to Ukraine is that - to avoid escalation - Ukraine does not use the received military technology on the territory of Russia. (This is why Kiev has not received, among other things, long-range missiles so far.) Zelenskiy constantly assured the donor countries of compliance with this, and emphasized that he only uses Western weapons to defend Ukraine.

However, according to the article, the leaked Pentagon documents reveal something completely different. Behind closed doors, the Ukrainian president comes up with much wilder ideas, including

how targets in Russia could be destroyed and how the industrial infrastructure of a NATO member state, Hungary, could be crippled.

According to leaked documents from wiretapping conducted by US intelligence services (the authenticity of which has not been denied by the Pentagon), in a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko in mid-February, Zelensky suggested that

Ukraine should blow up the Friendship Pipeline, which supplies Hungary with crude oil, as this could destroy the elements of the Hungarian industrial infrastructure based on Russian crude oil.

It is clear from the comments of the secret service analyzing the interceptions that "Zelensky's anger against the government of Hungary may have triggered the senseless and threatening sentences". However, this means nothing more than that the Ukrainian president was preparing for a sabotage operation against the critical infrastructure of a NATO member state.
