As a guest of the Citizens' Picnic in Újbuda, Tamás Deutsch, a member of the European Parliament of Fidesz, spoke about why it is not a burden, but an honor to fight for Hungary in Brussels.

"Believe me, our task is not difficult, but it is an incredible honor to fight on the Brussels fronts.

When you think about having to fight for your own family in the face of the most unworthy attack, do you wonder if it is a difficult fight?

A freak! - to hold a memorial moment for Ferenc Gyurcsány. It does not occur to you, you are fighting for your family.

If you have to stand up for your districts, your surroundings, your native settlements, villages, and cities, do you think that those who attack you, your fellow citizens in the most brutal way, are those ugly figures? You guys stand up for your own, according to their order and manner.

If you have to fight for your own country, for your own nation, which country and which nation has honored you with incredibly large and strong support, then this is not a difficulty, not a state worthy of regret or sympathy, but the most exciting and noblest struggle possible."
